Getting Started

IntelCenter API

Welcome to the IntelCenter Developer Portal.

The IntelCenter API provides authenticated programmatic access to ICD and ICDB data services. Integrations can search and retrieve records, discover material with natural-language queries, ask evidence-grounded Domain GenAI questions, build map experiences, and connect through the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

Core Capabilities

Structured Search

Use keyword, entity, country, date, and pagination parameters for precise record retrieval.

Component ID Lookup

When a Component ID is known, use the dedicated direct-lookup route rather than keyword search.

• GET /v1/icd/videos/by-component-id/{component_id}
• GET /v1/icd/images/by-component-id/{component_id}
• Equivalent ICDB routes are available with the same structure.

Natural Language Search

Use descriptive language to retrieve ranked records.

Domain GenAI

Ask independent questions or continue a credential-bound conversation.

Geo Manifests

Retrieve authorized, mappable records using cursor-based traversal.

MCP

Connect compatible assistants and agent clients, including ChatGPT, using the MCP endpoints:

MCP tools honor the same API-key permissions as their REST equivalents.
